I’ve seen some pretty fancy car seats in my day, but nothing like the Peg Perego Viaggio. I was happy to have the opportunity to test it.
As soon as I took it out of the box I knew it was going to make my life a lot easier. When it came to installation, I found it to be extremely simple. The base has a knob that turns to level it even after it’s already been installed. If I didn’t want to use the base, I took it out and installed the car seat directly to the seat and it was still very secure.
Something I’ve always struggled with is the crotch latch. They always seem so hard to push. I loved how easy this one was to release. Not only that, but the chest clip was easy to operate one-handed. I found myself needing to adjust the harness straps during my testing. There is no need to rethread them. All I had to do was push a button in the back of the car seat.
If you can get past the price tag, I would recommend this infant car seat. It’s easy to use, comfortable, and stylish. I honestly felt like my child was safe in it.
