The Radian 3RX comes with plenty of extra safety features to help ensure the safety and comfort of your little one as well.
It has a unique SuperLatch system for easy installation as well as side impact protection, a rear-facing tether, and patented SafeStop technology.
The SafeStop technology is helpful because it helps absorb energy in the event of a crash and keeps your child snug and safe in their seat.
The fabric covers are super soft and the memory foam seat will help cushion your child’s bum for optimal comfort.
It also comes with a tailored infant support cushion and a cupholder too.
Our 4th Choice: Diono Rainier 2AX Convertible Car Seat
Our next pick is the Rainier 2AX Convertible Car Seat.
This Diono seat is perfect for extended rear-facing as it accommodates it for children up to 50 pounds.
It can then be moved to forward-facing for up to 65 pounds.
Its made of a full steel frame and has extra-deep reinforced aluminum siding with an energy-absorbing foam lining.

The seat also comes with added infant support and a cupholder for holding your child’s snack or drink.
Our 5th Choice: Diono Cambria 2-in-1 Booster
So maybe your child is growing out of the front-facing restrictions and they’re ready for a booster seat. This one is a great option because it can hold up to 120 pounds.
This will ensure that your child can use it for as long as possible.
It can convert from high back to backless relatively easily and is super portable and storable.
It also comes with two retractable cup holders which are perfect for holding a snack and a drink at the same time.
The Cambria has the ability to recline and has 6 different headrest positions as well, so your child won’t complain of being uncomfortable at all.
What we like
This is a great booster seat because of its amenities for comfort.
You won’t need to worry about your kid complaining that they don’t want to hold their drink or snack because there are two convenient cupholders for them to use.
What we dislike
The biggest downside to this one is its size. It is quite large, so your child will probably need help buckling themselves in.
Our 6th Choice: Diono Monterey XT Booster
Next up on our list is the Monterey XT Booster Seat.
This Diono booster seat can accommodate 40-120 pounds. The sides are reinforced with aluminum and EPS energy-absorbing foam.
This seat is specifically designed to grow with your child.
The headrest has 11 different positions to accommodate your child’s height with an easy-to-use dial on the back of the seat.

What we like
The best thing about this booster seat is its retractable snack and cup holders that can easily fold in and out for fit and convenience.
We also really appreciate that this can be used up until your child is 120 pounds or 63 inches tall.
What we dislike
The only real downer to this seat is that it doesn’t come with a lot of padding.
Our 7th Choice: Diono Everett NXT Booster
The last seat on our list is the Everett NXT Booster Seat.
This Diono booster can accommodate children ages 4-12 years old.
The headrest has seven different positions and can be easily altered by the handle on the back of the seat.
It’s an ergonomic seat, which is really nice for providing impact protection and optimal comfort.
There are a few different ways this seat can be installed, but they are all relatively easy to understand and won’t cause a ton of frustration when trying to transport it between cars.
Its machine washable fabric and lightweight design make this booster seat a super convenient option for parents.
What we like
We really like this car seat because of its lightweight design.
Most other Diono car seats and boosters are much bulkier and heavier and that can make swapping vehicles a major hassle.
Its ergonomic memory foam fabric is also a nice touch for keeping your child comfortable.
What we dislike
The downside to this one though is that it’s still a new car seat on the market, so there isn’t a ton of feedback on it yet.
When it comes to car seats, you’re going to want only the best for your child.
In order to ensure you’re finding the perfect one, there are some things like safety and durability to keep in mind among other things.
A car seat’s safety rating should be your number one concern while shopping.
All car seats are required to pass a 30 mph crash test to be released to the market (source).
Most car seat manufacturers have added safety features to increase a seat’s safety level as well.
Diono, in particular, uses high-quality steel in their car seat frames as well as comfortable padding to keep your baby safe and comfortable at the same time.
You’re also going to want a car seat that is durable and long lasting.
You’ll want to avoid a seat that seems to buckle under your child’s weight or has parts that break off easily.
This ties back into the car seat’s safety features and their rating.
If your car seat isn’t durable, it surely won’t keep your child safe in the event of a car accident.
Ease of Use
As important as a car seat’s safety features are, it won’t be any use if you’re too frustrated to constantly get your child in an out of the seat.
This will only cause frustration from both you and your child.
This is especially important if you need to switch the seat between cars often.
Find a car seat that boasts easy buckling and unbuckling and make sure to note how easy or difficult it is to install.
Above all, your child will need a comfortable car seat. When shopping around, take note of what comfort features a seat provides.
Do they have an additional insert for the head? What about back and butt support?
Nobody wants to deal with an annoyed and crying child in the car, so comfort is key.
Diono car seats are perhaps some of the safest seats on the market.
They use a variety of safety features in their car seat and booster seat designs to help keep parents at ease. This is why we like the brand so much.
They’re also really nice because all of their convertible car seats can fit 3 across in the backseat of any midsize vehicle. This makes them the perfect car seats for parents of multiples.
You really can’t go wrong with any of these, but our favorite is their Radian 3R convertible seat.
We like this one specifically for its compact abilities and air travel certification.
Which of these seats is your favorite? We want to hear from you!
